High-speed rail in 'China' is the country's network of passenger-dedicated railway designed for speeds of 250- 350 km/h (155-217 mph). It is the world's 'longest high-speed railway network'.
and is also the most extensively used. In mid 2018 , HSR (high speed railway) extended to 30 of the country's 33 provincial-level administrative divisions. and almost reached 27,000 km (17,000 ml) in total length , accounting for about two-thirds of the world's high-speed rail tracks in commercial service . The HSR building boom continues with the HSR network set to reach 38,000
km (24,000 ml) in 2025.

The 'Beijing-Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong kong high-speed railway' or 'Jingguangshengang hight-speed railway' from its 'Chinese' name is a high-speed railway corridor name of the CRH passenger service , connecting 'Beijingxi Station' in 'Beijing' and 'Futian Sation' in 'Shenzhen' . It
crosses the border and follows 'Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong kong Express Rail Link Hong kong section ' to 'West Kowlonn Sation ' in 'Hong kong'. It is 2,230 kilometers (1,390 ml) long. and is the only Chinese high-speed railway to cross a border that requires immigration and customs clearance . The existing conventional 'Jingguang railway' runs largely parallel to the line. The line
forms part of the 'Beijing - Harbin Beijing - Hong kong (Macau) passageway' based on the "Eight Verticals and Eight Horizontals" railway master plan announced in 2016..
